Critical Adobe Flash Player Plug-in Vulnerability

Adobe has issued an emergency update for Flash Player.

A recently released Adobe Security Bulletin states:

Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Flash Player for Windows, Macintosh and Linux. These updates address critical vulnerabilities that could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. Adobe is aware of a report that an exploit targeting CVE-2015-5119 has been publicly published.

Many versions of Adobe were affected. We urge you to visit Adobe’s security site to ensure your system has the appropriate patch.

Protect Yourself: Consider using an email hygiene product such as Mimecast and its Threat Protection software. You should also routinely patch systems or consider looking at a support plan that includes patching or a third-party patching solution that’s reasonably priced and goes beyond basic Windows patching.
