Microsoft has acknowledged a vulnerability in Internet Explorer. Support for Internet Explorer was discontinued on January 12, 2016.
This vulnerability does not affect Microsoft Edge, which is the company’s current supported browser. As a best practice, you should always use supported products as they receive patches for such vulnerabilities.
Note the logos for Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge are very similar:
